Michael is a "tent-maker."  That simply means that he does not rely completely on the support of others for his livelihood.  Though he accepts gifts to aid him in his work he was convicted by the example of the Apostle Paul who made and mended tents to support himself.  Gifts are gratefully accepted as God moves folks to keep the work going.

Michael has been an ordained Pastor for over thirty years. In that time he has served many churches and ministries. However, his primary ministry has been to those of God's flock who feel astranged, what Michael lovingly call, "His wild-sheep."  From patients at a mental health facility to homeless men, Michael has shared the love and knowledge of God with all sorts of people.

Michael's calling has always been to "feed" His sheep.  It's about helping brothers and sisters and those who aren't sure find the grace of God for their hearts and minds.  It's about helping believers grow in their knowledge and understanding of the God who loves them, has redeemed them and made them His.  It is the grace of God that sustaines us as we seek to serve Him each day. 

A "discipler" and teacher Michael takes folks right where they are and seeks to help them find their way by the light of God's Word, prayer and just plain old fellowship.  Michael lives by three biblically based statement:

1.  Love God, love your neighbor and love those who choose to act as enemies toward you.

2.  Seek justice, love mercy and walk humbly with your God.

3.  Do not snuff out a smoldering candle and do not break off a bent reed.

Perhaps you're struggling in your faith - or even with it.  Michael knows that place.  It's dark and cold and you feel completely alone there.  You're not but you do feel that way.
